The Yavapai County Planning & Building Department issued 230 permits exceeding $6 million in value in January.
Single-family homes dominated the total in value with 17 permits worth more than $3.1 million, followed by a permit for a store worth $620,284.
Next was 38 permits for structures other than buildings, a category that includes swimming pools, grading and solar installations, at $573,949.
The county also is-sued 26 permits for additions, alterations and conversions for dwellings at $394,070, eight permits for residential garages and carports at $271,110 and 11 permits for non-residential additions, alterations and conversions.
Also issued were 14 permits for nonresidential buildings at $203,470, 54 permits for building safety over-the-counter permits at $78,606 and 14 permits for septic only at $70,500.
The Prescott office accounted for 144 permits and about $4.4 million in value.
