Letter: Free lunch of lore made family's day

EDITOR: On March 27, I took my granddaughter and great-granddaughter to Macayo's for lunch. When we finished our lunch, the waiter said, "The folks at the table across from you paid for your lunch." We have no idea who they were or why they did this, but we would like to thank them. It was a surprise to us. So thank you.

This happened last week too, I wonder if it is the same people who are paying for food. Either way it is wonderful to see good news. :-D

What a wonderful gesture! And thank you for taking the time to send a thank you!

How sad that no one takes the time to comment on good letters. :(

God karma! I have done this in the past when I saw the need. Once my wife and I were out for dinner and two couples out for prom night were near and they were so well behaved and having a good time we paid their bill as we left without them knowing. I have also had my dinner paid by a couple who enjoyed our cross the aisle conversation in Las Vegas. It works both ways.
