Sundogs' Morgan named CHL's 3 Star Player of the Month
The Daily Courier

Arizona Sundogs forward Jason Morgan on Monday claimed the Central Hockey League's Oakley Three Star Player of the Month award for November, as he registered a league-best 18 points.

Morgan, the Sundogs' captain, nabbed three so-called first stars in three consecutive games this month and grabbed a second star in another contest.

For November, Morgan scored five goals and notched five assists, recording three game-winning goals.

The CHL awards players five points for being a game's first star, three points for being its second star and one point for being its third star.

Tulsa Oilers forward Todd Robinson (15 points in November) and Rapid City Rush forward Konrad Reeder (14 points), a former Sundog, were also recognized for league honors.

Good for him. He is one of our hometown heroes of the ice, and a man who has dedicated his whole life to the great sport of ice hockey. Go Captain.
