The Daily Courier

Bradshaw Mtn. boys 42

Goldwater 39

The Bears knew they had to win their final handful of games for a shot to make the state playoffs. So far, they're shot is still alive.

Bradshaw has been clutch down the stretch and continued that with this win Wednesday night in Phoenix.

Senior Lucas Herman hit three big free throws late to give Bradshaw the lead, and then the defense held strong at the other end to preserve the win.

"The last five games have just been down to the wire," BMHS head coach Doug Beilfuss said of this critical late stretch.

Senior Anthony Biasetti scored 11 points in the win, and senior Christian McKay hauled down nine rebounds.

The Bears (18-8 overall, 13-4 in power point games) close the regular season in Cottonwood Friday night against Mingus Union. Depending on how the final night shakes out around the rest of the state, if the Bears win their finale they are likely in the playoffs.
