Prescott, the 13-seed entering the meet at Cave Creek Golf Course, placed eighth overall. Cactus Shadows was the Div. 2 team state champion.

Simon Paige finished 33rd (17:18), and Hosava Kretzmann also cracked the Top 40 with a time of 17:25, good for 38th place overall.

On the girls' side, Prescott's Claren Fraher clocked in at 21:14 for 30th place out of 153 runners, to help the Lady Badgers to a 14th place finish as a team. Flagstaff was the Div. 2 girls' state champion.
