THE FORMAT AT QUAILWOOD Greens was 2nd round of the Club Championship. The leaders are gross Dom Lomedico, Dennis Aust, Dave Janz, Mike Tucker, Net Larry McKenzie, Jerry Hensley, Bill Robertson, Joe Warren. The kp winners were #2 Dick Stern, #3 Dick Stern, #5 Dick Stern, #7 Del Berg, #11 Larry Clark, #13 Dennis Aust,#16 Dennis Aust. The last round of the Club Championship will be on Oct. 15.

Europe leads 5-3 after Day 1 of Ryder Cup
GLENEAGLES, Scotland - For the first time in eight years, Europe is ahead after the first full day of play at the Ryder Cup.

Europe grabbed a 5-3 lead after Friday's two sessions at Gleneagles - even though big guns Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter contributed only half a point.

ODD & EVEN WAS THE game for the StoneRidge Ladies League on Wednesday. Carol Patten won Flight 1 with a 42, followed by Louise Burke with 42.5. In Flight 2, Namsook Kim won (38.5) ahead of Teresa Busser (39). Kathy Burns (#8) and Shary Koch (#17) were closest to the pin. Kim shot low gross (87). Burns shot low net (66).
