The Yavapai College baseball team finds itself with an unscheduled day off on Saturday.

The Roughriders, who have started the 2013 season with a perfect 5-0 start, were scheduled to host the College of Southern Nevada at Roughrider Park in Prescott on Saturday. But a wicked winter forecast has put the kibosh on those plans.

On Friday night, YC head coach Ryan Cougill said the doubleheader was canceled.

It's uncertain if the teams will re-schedule another doubleheader at a later date, or if Yavapai would possibly scramble to schedule a different team that could accommodate an Arizona trip to fill the spot on the schedule.
