Obituary: Annetta Jean Witting
Mrs. Witting
Mrs. Witting

On March 16, 2013 Annetta Jean Witting of Mayer, Ariz., was called home to be with the Lord and reunite with her lifelong partner, Bill who preceded her in death. Annetta was born March 2, 1928 in Long Beach, Calif.

She married Bill in 1946, and raised four children. Her life was dedicated to serving her family, church and community. She served the Mayer School system for 42 years both on the school board and as a librarian. Jean loved the school and was touched in some way by every teacher and student she had contact with.

Jean is survived by her three sons, William Guy Witting, Robert (Diane) Witting, Steven (Debbie) Witting; and her daughter Patti (Larry) Snow; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her sister Carolee Seaton; and brother Clifton Roth. She was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Please join her family in a celebration of life at noon on April 6, 2013, at the Mayer High School in Spring Valley.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Mayer Community Church, P.O. Box 743, Mayer, AZ 86333 in honor of Jean Witting.

What a dear sweet woman. A very godly woman and a tender heart as well. Always an encouragement to me and others. She will be missed, but we will see her again. Her devotion to the children and others will leave a deep void, rest in peace good and faithful servant

Mrs. Witting (along with husband Bill) will always be in my heart. She lovingly assisted as an instructional aide in our Kindergarten classroom at Mayer Elementary for 10 years. She was my rock of support in so many ways. I know you are so happy to be home now and be with the love of your life, Bill.

Jean was one of a kind and the community will never be the same without her. I thank her for being so amazing at what she did and for having such a positive impact on my son throughout his entire 13 years of being a Mayer student. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Jean and I started the same year at Mayer Elem. School, 1985. She genuinely loved the students we worked with and she will be sorely missed! May the wind be beneath your wings, Jean
