Prescott High School Future Business Leaders team wins 18 medals at regional conference

Twenty-one members of Prescott High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) traveled to Phoenix Wednesday to take part in the FBLA Regional Conference. The local team won a total of 18 medals. Winners included students Trevor Navarro, Jared Collet, Makenzie Kimball, Dylan Zawicki, Luke Arminio, Cameron Gutgsell, Nakai Lake, Naomi Worob, Mackenzie Peterson and Sky Jordan. Categories in the competition included the online testing tournament, in which Prescott High School's FBLA team scored second place, business ethics, networking concepts, cyber security, and more.

The local FBLA will now have the chance to compete in the state championship, scheduled for April 13-15 in Tucson. More than 2,500 students are expected to compete in the statewide competition.
