9/1/2012 10:00:00 PM 60th Anniversary: Virginia Kay (Hodgeson) and Boyd Eugene Low
Virginia Kay (Hodgeson) and Boyd Eugene Low of Chino Valley, Ariz., were married Sept. 4, 1952, in their hometown of Millersburg, Ohio. They moved to Southern California in the early 1960s, where Gene worked with Webb Association as a draftsman for 30 years.
Kay worked with fiber arts and has created many original quilts and 3-D art. Her best work has graced two gallery showings and recently earned top honors in the Yavapai County Fair. Gene took up ceramics and jujitsu, eventually earning a third-degree black belt.
Their son, Brian Douglas
Low, lives in Riverside, Calif., with his wife Lisa (Prieto). Their daughter Teresa Kay Weil and her husband, Col. George E. Weil, live in Chino Valley.
