This past week, Phoenix Children's Hospital bussed 115 children to Friendly Pines Camp at Prescott for Camp Rainbow. The campers call themselves Rainbow Kids and they are all cancer survivors. Prescottonian Ken Hinderleiter, 94, treated the Rainbow Kids to a pizza party, and they treated him to singing and dancing. Rainbow Camp is like any other summer camp for children - they ride horses, canoe, make arts and crafts, clean their own cabins, climb trees and have fun.
