Cody Wayne Wilson, 23, of Bagdad
The Daily Courier
Yavapai County Sheriff's detectives booked Cody Wayne Wilson, 23, of Bagdad into the Yavapai County jail in Camp Verde on March 23 on charges of several counts of sexual conduct with a minor after detectives found Wilson allegedly videotaped several sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl, said Dwight D'Evelyn, spokesman for YCSO.
Wilson remains in jail on a $250,000 bond, and also faces charges for sexual exploitation of a minor as a result of the visual images detectives found, D'Evelyn said.
The detectives who are investigating the case determined the girl was 15 years old when Wilson initiated sexual conduct with her in the Bagdad area, D'Evelyn said.
Detectives found and recovered evidence that Wilson had photographed and videotaped several of these acts involving the girl, D'Evelyn said.
"The (news) release was delayed as the investigation remained active regarding the likelihood of additional victims," D'Evelyn said.
Detectives believe there may be at least two other underage victims involved with Wilson, and are asking victims and anyone with information regarding Wilson's involvement in sexual conduct with children to call Detective Ross Diskin at 928-777-7348.
Those callers wishing to remain anonymous may contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.

"Likelihood" , baloney, these kinds of perpetration do not lead to multiple offenses or victims. That is like saying that a couple who enjoy their sexual prowess leads to multiple partners ! The lawyers remarks are also quite interesting yet limiting to Bagdad only is possibly a stretch and could very well lead to and include Yavapai County with all it's recent reports of sexual "Misconduct !"
