State's best youth bowlers in Prescott Valley this weekend
The Daily Courier

The best youth bowlers in Arizona will descend on Prescott Valley this weekend.

Antelope Lanes is hosting the Arizona State USBC (U.S. Bowling Congress) Youth Tournament of Champions. Teams and individual bowlers from across the state have qualified.

Look for a competitive field of around 36 teams plus 66 individuals. Bowlers range in age from 5 to 20.

And Antelope Lanes in PV is at the center of it all.

All 24 lanes will be devoted to the tournament from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday. The top three from each division will advance to the finals on Sunday, which begin at 10 a.m. and will end at around 6 p.m.

The field also includes six local teams and nine local singles bowlers.

Awards will be given to the top three in each division of the team and singles events. Scholarships go to the first-place team members and first-place singles in each division.

The public is welcome to attend the tournament.
