Prescott Valley police arrested Robert William Hall, 46, of Prescott Valley after he allegedly struck a woman with his vehicle Friday evening outside of a Prescott Valley bar in the 8100 block of Valley Road.

According to a police report, Hall's 1989 Toyota 4Runner allegedly struck the 45-year-old woman from Dewey as she walked outside the bar with a group of people. Witness accounts indicate the vehicle accelerated as it approached the group and crossed the center line before striking the pedestrian. Hall fled the scene before emergency medical personnel arrived.

The victim was later flown to the Flagstaff Medical Center in serious condition. Her condition has since stabilized, according to Prescott Valley Police Sgt. Brandon Bonney.

"The last they heard from the hospital was she was stable," Bonney said Saturday.

Bonney said an investigation into the incident, including the possibility Hall was involved in an altercation with the group earlier in the evening, is ongoing.

Hall was later located at his Prescott Valley residence. A 64-year-old female roommate allegedly hindered the investigation at the time and was subsequently arrested.

Hall, who refused to provide a statement to investigators, was later booked into the Yavapai County jail on charges of negligent attempted homicide, three counts of endangerment, and one count of aggravated assault.
