2 men accused of burglarizing a Yarnell home

PRESCOTT (AP) - Authorities say a Yarnell man and a transient are in custody for allegedly breaking into and burglarizing a home that had been evacuated by a wildfire.

Yavapai County Sheriff's officials said Thursday that 27-year-old Dakota Slone of Yarnell and 22-year-old Robert Frost have been booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center.

They say Slone is being held on suspicion of burglary, theft and five counts of trafficking stolen property.

Authorities say Frost is facing charges of burglary, theft and trafficking in stolen property.

Sheriff's deputies say Slone and Frost allegedly broke into the evacuated Yarnell home sometime between June 30 and July 8 and allegedly stole coins, jewelry, knives and firearms.

The men allegedly sold some of the items to a pawn shop. They were arrested at a Prescott motel.

It seems there always have been people like this and likely always will be. For these two despicable characters, put them in Judge Cele Hancock's court room. She will make short work of them and mete out the proper punishment.

im pretty sure they will receive a sentence
mandated by their actions when it comes time for sentencing.
their actions are about as low as one can possibly get considering the circumstances

This is our lovely youth today, or maybe they're part of the "rehab world". Military training would straighten them out.

These people are a good representation of the parasites in our society. Trouble is, if you sign up for it at a Government Agency, it is legal.

They are lost and no one wants to help them or forgive them. We do not love our enemies.

As an employer, I personally hard-print articles such as this one, and place in my black file cabinet in the event either one of these two come knocking on my door for work someday!
Of course, it always helps to do a background check as well.
This practice keeps everyone safe!

This type of crime literally makes me sick to my stomach. It takes a special kind of an ugly soul to kick someone when they're already down.
