ANSWER for this past week: Last week’s clue was “The United Method,” and this one was a surprise. No one recognized it as what we believed was the correct answer, the sign on The United Methodist Church in Chino Valley. However, many of you let us know it was on the Methodist church in either Prescott or Prescott Valley. So, since all three of those houses of worship display the logo, we’re calling Bill Sonsin of Prescott the winner, as he was the first to recognize the denomination. At the end of the month we’ll put all correct spotters’ names of the weekly “What is it, Where is it?” winners together, and one will win a prize from the Courier’s prize stash. Keep guessing, and remember to give “what” it is and “where” it is.
The Daily Courier's Community Page on Tuesdays features "What is it, where is it?" - photographs from the local area that we encourage readers to figure out.
The first person to call or email with the correct answer will get their name in the newspaper the next week along with a more easily recognizable photo of the same scene.
Each winner's name will go into a drawing for a prize that month. Correct respondents will be eligible for the prize only in the month in which they answer correctly.
Call City Editor Mark Duncan at 445-3333, ext. 2032, or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your guess. Be sure to include a contact number and where you live (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, etc.).
